I just joined the group and I'm interested in the thread on RSI(2)<1 indicator. I can't find any post that shows what "after showing green" means. I'm guessing it may mean a green candle. Correct? Please let me know

"After showing green" means "the stock is opening in positive territory, compared to last night's close".
You wait until the stock moves up after the Open (green= higher than the Close). This way you will not catch a falling knive.

Anyone cash in when the QQQ bottomed on RSI(2)?

I picked up some April 38 calls for .05 and sold for .15!

Of course, thanks go to HolyGrail for his teachings and alerts.

RumpledOne - Have you bought QQQ puts now that the RSI(2) has hit the top?

No, no PUTS for me... I usually don't trade the DOWNSIDE.

But there is (a lot of) money to be made on the DOWNSIDE.

What's with EVOL and IDUL? The RSI(2) seems to have bottomed out on these but they've still been going down last 2-3 days!!!

Re EVOL and IDUL - There is no guarantee of an immediate bounce. It could take a few days but a bounce will surely come (like King Harvest).

I am not sure what you are saying about who is right?

I just posted what RSI(2) showed me.

RSI(2) on QQQ must be close to or under 2 at this point? What other indicators do you use to confirm a bottom?

Regards,

Rich

Don't really need other indicators.

I do look at the linear regression lines. I have posted about this before.

If RSI(2) is low AND the price is at/near the lower linear regression line it is usually time to load the boat.

Also look for a positive divergence.

Right now the QQQ lower LR is around $33.50.

Remember, this is a guessing game, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. Just don't be greedy.
Take what you can, give nothing back.
