7/27/2007 10:09:25 PM Let us not forget also that for every buyer there has to be a seller, and vice versa. Therefore, the uptick rule was a stupid idea from the beginning and it has never hindered those who were bent on shorting the stock. Plus, I don't hear anyone balk when the damn stock jumps 10% or more, so why are they bitching so much (sorry for my french) when it falls by the same amount? |
