I've tried everything, starting from the slope of the support line, and ending with adding the support line I waned as a variable. nothing worked.

Type support or resistance in the search box or try the following link:

You can add the phrases - draw support(65,10,1)
and draw resistance(65,10,1) - to your settings if you want them in all your charts. You can vary the period parameters.

tried it but got curved lines!!!
how can they be horizontal or do i still have to draw them by hand??

If you merely want to see a horizontal line plotted across the support/resistance, write this to ure filter followed by whatever you deem appropriate as support or resistance: draw price line at ???
For example, if the resistance is the 20-day high...
But then the real question is just how do you know where the nearest resistance is?
