is there a way to screen for high short percentage.
like if its earning breakout ,it means a short squeze if days to cover is high

These stocks have attractive fund...... good divd, inst buying, and the short ratio will help dips and rallys more than a stock with the same stats with no short intrest.
I have not looked at every chart for this list......but what I was thinking is having alerts set for support and breakout price points.... I like to know when earnings are coming out so I know the risk if I hold into earnings..

Made coin on MTXX today, this stock has been hitting a few of my scans, when John Lee loaded up yesterday at the close, I thought he knows what he is doing......bought at 5.61....put a .25 trail on it ...and left the office......was looking for a swing to around 6.50...
Stopped out at 6.00 ....
nice dip on BKC.... I have been waiting for this thing to get to 16 again...... now that its down here i am having second thoughts, the food dose suck, but the King is funny... is this normal?
Dont ask about ELNK that was a great pick... I have no confiednce in my own picks..... it will take time.......I should take that damm thing off my watchlist....
Todays action did not clear up anything the SPX closed above the ema 100, but we need to break above the upper decending trendline before I get bullish........... am I preaching to the chior or what......are my notes to anyones help? If any thing I guess it kinda helps me....I have no one else to talk too about this stuff, I am an island awash in a see of smart but ignorant people........

From now on I will post any thing to watch and my trials here.....interday alerts should be just for that, alerts, trades and things to watch for that day....... I want to swing........

I guess you all heard the news about CIT, it was halted today......we will see what happens........if it opens at 0.01 in the AM the shorts will start covering and it may (will) get a good bounce....I have not looked at the news on this as of yet.
The SPX broke above the descending trend line......the Bears will be running for the hills.....I will be searching the internets for breakouts with big short intrest, preferably in hot sectors.....will also look at bottom bounces.....with the same criteria..

OK a few breakouts on the Intell news....Intell has room to run.
A savy trader would have done his homework and been ready to buy these at the open off the Intell news, as you can see by the charts, alot of folks were ready and the bears were covering. Any dip in the chips should be bought Friday may be a good day to pick these names up...
NSM, MTL, ATHR, SIGM these are all chip type plays.......the bad thing is all of these are maxed out on the CMO(5) as I study the charts this is good indicator of a top...so I may wait for a pull back..for better prices
