Joe,
Welcome aboard. It's good to find another comrade-in-arms. I will chronicle my morning trades if time permits. Thx.

I don't follow the damn tune of the earnings season, so I can care less about Alcoa and their red ink. What can you expect from a guy who doesn't even read the financial news, other than a couple headlines from Yahoo! Finance?! However, thanks to the gloomy outlook, the preponderance of evidence against the bulls is slowly building to its crescendo. But, as they say, load the shots but don't pull the trigger just yet. So there you have my next 15-min outlook.

On a side note, the lower Keltner band is now below the lower Bollinger band on the 5-min chart. Things might look rosy in the short run.

In this game, the truant's maxim "It's better late than never" doesn't apply because it's the "never" that will actually save ure a$$ at the end of the day. As a daytrader, this means that you should wait until the bar or candle has formed in its entirety. I follow the 5-min chart with an occasional glance at the 15-min chart. I do not take my action until the close of that 5-min span.
