I have no idea what the catalyst is for the current rally but, frankly, it's these spur of the moment rallies that I find most challenging. Is it better to plunge right in or stay out until it comes back down to more reasonable prices? As I wait, the monster flies higher (without me of course). So I'm scratching my head (all the while b~ching & cursing about my overly prudish nature) not quite knowing what the fortune has in store for me.

I was able to pickup some $$$ on the reversal and then I got out too early! I really like to grab the profit when I can but then I give up the big bucks. Patience is really hard for me to control, so I have to work on this.

I'm off to a luncheon appointment(CA time) so I will check in later today. Good luck this afternoon Niko.

Joe

Technical price target for the ensuing rally is at around 1282, reflecting the pattern of symmetry with the earlier rally of approximately 9 points.

Truth be told, I threw in the towels. This market is behaving like a starved lunatic suffering from manic-depression, and I hate to wrongly buy into the asumption that this is just another technical bounce. This should not be construed as rationalizing my inaction or the lack thereof (which prolly is).

Today's gross profit: +5.00

(I could have made nearly 19 points had I taken TRO's advice and bought at the rock bottom and sold at the high of the range. *wink wink*)

I have kept my own journal in the past. But with so much distractions, I don't bother posting my trades there anymore. After all, one posts for one's own benefit (so methinks). Now I just jibe with others about nonessentials.
